Alba didn’t miss to notice the teasing edge in the stranger’s voice— It only added to the irritation the boy already felt. Nothing seemed to be going right at the moment; it was kind of annoying, he couldn’t deny. Though apparently, here someone was willing to entertain him! Wasn’t that kind?

Ah, that laugh didn’t sound happy at all! What a shame!
