When would he finally learn how to measure the distance the gate would take him? Of course it was of advantage that he wasn’t as limited as Ruki, however it was of no use if it took way too far!! Where was he now? It… looked really dull around here; but not like the wastlands he was familiar with. Though at least he could tell that this wasn’t the Demon World anymore— was that good? No, he honestly couldn’t tell yet. The area was far too unknown.
Sighing under his breath, Alba could see a city in the distance — but it was so far away, it probably took a while to get there, didn’t it? Frowning, he was about to set a destination to find some information (instead of, you know, open the gate and leave) on the area, he already had to realise that ah, he had been spotted by some stranger. Great. Why did people only ever notice him when he wasn’t in the mood for them?
Though… that guy looked like he was from around here.
“Pumpkin man… W- What kind of name is that!? Don’t call me that!” Geez, what was this guy thinking?! Alba didn’t like it at all! Ugh, the vibes he got from this guy were too familiar. If he didn’t knew it better, he might as well be talking to Elf. …not really pleasant. “Uh, yeah, I’m lost. Where am I? And what’s this place?”
Ooh– He was a loud one, huh? After such a simple greeting like his own to be responded like that… No doubt this guy would be a funny one to talk to! And since the male wasn’t going to be seeing anyone else out this far into the desert, this guy was going to be his only option in terms of something to amuse himself with!
Ah, but walking this far away from the city probably wasn’t a good idea to begin with. Rail could hear his assistant’s scolding in his head already… He would of laughed, but he supposed doing that now would have been given some silly reaction by the brunet before him, thus he decided on hopping up from where he sat to close the distance between them instead.
“But you’re wearing orange! I thought it was fitting!” What else was he supposed to call a stranger, after all. Saying ‘hey you’ sounded much ruder actually…
“How careless are you to get lost here?” Better here than Ignobilis, though so he could use this guy to amuse himself however he wanted without hiding him. “This is Issium! It’s more or less a desert country… The capital over there is about a half an hour walk though, pumpkin man ♪”
